TSI Custom CD-R

Level 1 (GOOD)
DICOM compliant and PACS compatible, 80 minute, 52x recording speed, 700 mb, with years of proven performance. Each disc is coated with a protective layer of ultra-violet ink that guards against scratches. Level 1 CD-R’s are compatible with all CD recorders, duplicators, and burners. Level 1 discs are environmentally tested for 100 year data integrity and provide exceptional quality and value.
Level 2 (BETTER)
The Verbatim Medi-Disc is manufactured to the highest standards. Each medical grade CD-R is designed for archiving medical image and healthcare records. 80 minute, 52x recording speed, 700 mb, DICOM compliant, and PACS compatible with years of proven performance. Level 2 Verbatim Medi-discs are manufactured especially for use in the medical industry.
Level 3 (BEST)
Mitsui Gold 300 Year CD-R, 80 minute, 52x recording speed, 700 mb, DICOM compliant, and PACS compatible, with years of proven performance. Each disc includes Mitsui’s patented Phthalocyanine dye which means every Mitsui Gold CD-R will last longer than conventional CD-R media. Mitsui discs are certified for use in all high speed CD recorders, duplicators, and burners. Level 3 Mitsui Gold is the highest quality archive disc available.
TSI Custom Printing onto CD-R
Print specialists at TSI have several options for printing images, text, and logos onto Dicom compliant recordable discs. Whether CD-R or DVD-R, TSI will accurately and safely print your art files directly onto each disc along with adding a protective coating that is both waterproof and scratch resistant. We do not use inkjet or paper labels. Inkjet tends to smear and paper labels can peel and erode. TSI Medical CD-R’s can stand up to harsh environmental conditions and all discs come with a lifetime guarantee.
Graphics, Logos, Artwork
Experienced graphics specialists preflight art files to insure your logo and artwork will print clearly. TSI’s design staff will help create an image that identifies each patient medical record with your corporate name and logo. The design process includes sending a proof via e-mail for quick and easy approval.
Offset Professional Printing
Up to 6 colors can be printed onto each disc. Offset printing is a high resolution, high definition print process. Images printed using offset technology match the quality of high-end professional print presses. This print method is highly recommended when images are detailed and colorful.
Silk Screen Professional Printing
Silk screen technology is used for printing up to 6 unique colors onto the discs. We use the pantone color matching system to accurately match corporate colors. Silk screen processes colorful layers of ink that are transferred onto the disc providing a scratch resistant surface.
Disc Handling
Each disc is meticulously printed in clean room conditions. Advanced robotics handle each disc through the printing process. Inspection cameras check the quality and consistency of each print job.
TSI has a wide range of disc packaging options which include economical disc envelopes in assorted colors, soft plastic security CD cases, and personalized custom printed medical record jackets with disc and document pockets. All of our packaging options are lightweight and designed for safe disc storage and transport. Tyvek, paper, and cardboard sleeves are available in colors. Cardboard disc mailers with peel and stick closures are custom printed with your organization’s information, including return address and postage seal. Our latest innovative design is called the “Super Wallet”. It is a 6 x 9 inch color printed cardboard record folder that incorporates 1 disc pocket, printed instructions on how to view the medical images on computer, and a document pocket for paper records.
